Wild Earth Stewardship Center will serve as a host site for workshops and many other learning opportunities to connect pioneers, teachers, and specialists with students, local and indigenous people, and visitors alike to share and learn techniques and skills that make it easy to participate in a more active, collaborative revitalization of the earth. We coordinate with our neighboring rural communities to carry out each of our final workshop projects as community improvement projects, as well as to connect interested community members with the basic skills to support new avenues for entrepreneurs, and other opportunities for socio-economic transformation and ecological regeneration.
Our workshops will provide hands-on opportunities to learn more about natural building, permaculture, renewable energy and waste systems, wellness and spiritual well-being. Every workshop we host will include a mix of local community members and international visitors. Examples of community improvement projects include natural building for community infrastructure improvements, renewable energy and waste systems, and permaculture gardens. By offering the workshops in this way, participants not only learn new skills and techniques, they also allow us to connect with our neighboring communities to share the necessary expertise, education, training, manpower, materials, and funding to get more local community improvement projects up and running and encourage entrepreneurial growth in areas that revitalize the earth and communities.
The center is teaming up with a core group of specialized international and national organizations, field experts, and specialists to host workshops at Wild Earth Stewardship Center. Please check out our community projects page to get a feel for the types of workshops we will be interested in hosting.
Workshops create unique opportunities for groups of people from many different backgrounds and skill sets to work together to learn new ideas and techniques, implement innovative projects sustainably, and create and connect new networks of people to dream, invent, and work together in the future.
